"Rural Faune's Synth Series continues with this excellent full-length disc from Antwerp-based artist Innercity (aka Hans Dens), whose DIY electronic convulsions span a dreamlike, new-age scrambling forty minutes on this highly limited disc (just 70 copies are in circulation). The album arrives like a homespun, nightmarish alternative to the Blade Runner soundtrack and its conjuring of dystopian urban landscapes. In amongst this synthetic melange you'll encounter virus-infected panpipe pieces, no-fi dub excursions and scratchy keyboard drones and loops - all welded together in a brain-addlingly unintuitive and disjointed fashion. Great stuff."
